GeoAg

Geological Agriculture (GeoAg) is the study and application of cultivating plants and vegetation indoors or outdoors permanently without the use of soil and fertilizers. It was founded by Richard Campbell.

The Cameroon GeoAg team is led by RADA cum University of Bamenda and other scientists from the Polytechnic  University Institute, Bamenda. This team is in partnership with the University of Tennessee, USA and part of the Africa Research Group on GeoAg.

RADA and the GeoAg Cameroon team holds the rights to conduct GeoAg research, education, publishing and activities covering GeoAg theories, methodologies, concepts and strategies in Cameroon. Phase two of GeoAg in Cameroon is set to begin in 2020 and would include research, training and use of these strategies to support the food system ecosystem and promote use of the techniques by farmers and households to improve nutrition at home.
