PRESS RELEASE
The Cameroon NCD Alliance is pleased to announce that it is one of the 19 Civil Society organizations receiving the Solidarity Fund from the NCD Alliance to support advocacy and communications efforts to promote the needs of peoples living with chronic non-communicable diseases and prioritize NCD prevention control as a key step towards equity, resilience and recovery from the COVID -19 pandemic.
The first SF in 2020 was used to conduct a study on the state and role of NCDs during the COVID-19, examining how the Cameroon response considered people living with NCDs.
Thanks to the global NCD Alliance and its partners, the Cameroon NCD Alliance will use this opportunity to continue to ensure that the needs, challenges and priorities of as well as meaningful engagement and involvement of people living with NCDs in the Cameroon response to this pandemic remains everyone’s business especially as we recover from the pandemic.
