About the Program
Minority groups all over the world are discriminated upon in the society and those in Cameroon are not left out. Persons with disability face the most discrimination and are more vulnerable in a conflict region like the North West and South West. They are increasingly at risk to left behind in humanitarian action and other developmental actions. There is therefore a need to advocate for their inclusion as well as make available services that can meet the need of this vulnerable group of people.
Program's Goal
Advocate for rights of persons with disability and promote inclusion for all vulnerable groups in the society.
Program's Objectives
- Strengthen internal capacity of the organization and staff on diversity equity and inclusion.
- Advocate for external actors to be inclusive in their initiatives.
- Build capacity of identified minority communities (especially persons with disabilities) to be economically empowered and be able to advocate for their rights as individuals and as a community.
- Support the practice of inclusion through active projects in the field by RADA and with partners
