Disability Inclusion

Disability & Inclusion Program for Equal Community Participation

Program Overview

This program aims to promote the meaningful inclusion of persons with disabilities within their communities and to support their active participation in social, economic, and civic life. The initiative adopts a rights-based, inclusive approach to address physical, social, and institutional barriers that hinder equal participation. It prioritizes the inclusion of vulnerable and marginalized populations, including persons with disabilities, minority groups, and indigenous communities, ensuring equitable access to opportunities, services, and decision-making processes.

The program implements targeted community engagement, capacity-building, and awareness-raising interventions to foster inclusive attitudes and strengthen local systems. By promoting collaboration among community stakeholders, local authorities, and civil society organizations, the initiative seeks to enhance social cohesion and sustainable development outcomes. Ultimately, the program contributes to reduced inequality, improved community resilience, and the realization of dignity, rights, and equal participation for all, aligns with national development priorities and international inclusion and human rights frameworks.
