Program Overview
The “PROTECTION AND ACCESS TO JUSTICE” program is designed to address and reduce human rights violations in the North West regions of Cameroon. It focuses on ensuring that vulnerable individuals in prison can fully exercise their legal rights and receive fair and just treatment. The program also aims to raise awareness within the broader community about critical human rights issues, fostering greater engagement and support. Moreover, it empowers participants with essential tools, knowledge of legal frameworks, monitoring mechanisms, and effective advocacy strategies to strengthen the protection and promotion of human rights in the region.
THREE MAIN OBJECTIVES FOR THE PROGRAM
- To ensure that vulnerable individuals in prison can exercise their legal rights and receive fair treatment.
- To raise awareness and engage a wider community on critical human rights issues.
- To be empowered with the necessary tools and understanding of legal frameworks, monitoring mechanisms, and advocacy strategies for human rights protection

Equips participants with legal knowledge, monitoring tools, and advocacy strategies to actively protect and promote human rights, reducing violations in the region.
SUCCESS STORIES
We have successfully carried sensitization and education on several human rights protection via Facebook post, hosted podcasts, attended trainings on Monitoring, Documenting and Reporting Human Rights Violations, Digital and Physical Security of Human Rights Defenders.
Successfully commemorated International Days that relates to the Program.
