Program Overview

This is a community-based initiative for sustainable trauma research, prevention, management, and advocacy for relief for people at risk in Cameroon. It is implemented together with a livelihood component, as often, the trauma cases have issues with livelihood. So far, we have reached out to about 200 persons in the Northwest Region of Cameroon

THREE MAIN OBJECTIVES FOR THE PROGRAM

  1. Conduct research in the areas of trauma in the humanitarian setting in Cameroon.
  2. Raise awareness on the prevention and management of trauma.
  3. Advocate for health policies in relation to mental health

THE PURPOSE OF THIS PROGRAM

The purpose of this program is to conduct research, raise awareness, and advocate for health policies around mental health

Research & Policy Advocacy

Conducting vital research and advocating for evidence-based health policies to strengthen mental healthcare systems and awareness in Cameroon.

Community Healing & Support

A sustainable initiative for trauma prevention, management, and relief, integrating livelihood support to address the interconnected needs of at-risk individuals

Direct Community Reach

Directly supporting over 200 persons in the Northwest Region through integrated care, building resilient communities from the ground up.
